Digital media career catalyst Creative Multimedia Group celebrates its 21st anniversary.
Creative Multimedia Group celebrated its 21st anniversary on the 18th of July 2019 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. This is the flagship event of Creative Multimedia Group which includes Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- and Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts, two of the most sought-after names in creative art and digital media education in India.
Dr. T. Papireddy, Chairman - Telangana State Council of Higher Education was the Chief Guest of the day. He said that the flourishing $500 bn multimedia industry needs more such passionate training powerhouses as Creative Multimedia. Dr. Kavita Daryani Rao, Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University complimented Creative Multimedia group for its consistency in imparting industry-focused career programs for 21 years.
Mr. Anil Pant, MD & CEO of APTECH highlighted the prolific job opportunities in multimedia and said: “Collectively, across digital media and entertainment verticals, the industry needs more than 1,00,000 trained people today but we just don’t have enough talent.” Mr. Neeraj Raj, Founder of Immertive Pvt. Ltd., an enterprise specializing in creating immersive experiences in healthcare said that Animation is no more just about entertainment, and that specializations such as Medical Animation are gaining ground as distinct verticals and helping expand the animation sector.
Praveen Kilaru, Production Head of Digital Domain made an enthralling presentation on his studio’s best works and said that Creative Multimedia group’s placement initiative “Our Campus-Your Interviews” is the best by any animation and VFX academy in India. Mr. Binayak and Mr. Kaizar from Green Gold Animation made a presentation on the evolution of the iconic character Chhota Bheem and the behind-the-scenes of the stereoscopic 3D Animation film Kungfu Dhamaka.
Mr. Srihari - Founder of Parrot Communications, an established graphic design studio in Hyderabad inspired students with a short speech stating that multimedia is one of the most rewarding professions in the world. Mr. Ganesh, Strategic UX Designer at Infosys held forth on the growing role of UX Design in today’s digital marketing era and stressed on the dearth of trained talent in the job market, saying: “Companies are willing to pay high salaries for trained UX Designers who are the most sought after talent attracting salaries upto INR 7 lakhs per annum for freshers.”

India’s most powerful digital media and entertainment placements engine celebrates two decades of excellence.
Creative Multimedia Group celebrated its 20th Anniversary with great fanfare amidst government and industry luminaries on Friday, the 20 July 2018 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. Jayesh Ranjan graced the event as the Chief Guest. Green Gold Animation founder Rajiv Chilaka, Firefly Creative Studios chief promoter PC Sanath, Dijo Davis from MPC-Bangalore, Nirmal from 2AdPro-Chennai, Vijay from Magic Lumes and Sridhar, HR of Symbiosys Technologies-Hyderabad were the special guests of honour.
Government of Telangana Principal Secretary - IT, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan addressed the students and said that Multimedia is a high priority sector for the Telangana government and went on to add: “Our government is keen on supporting institutions like Creative Multimedia which are contributing immensely to talent development.”

PC Sanath from Firefly ran through a short yet educative presentation on the art and science of visual effects using examples, from his studio’s best works. Dijo Davis also delivered an in-depth presentation on the fundamental tenets of crafting a winning demo-reel. He offered invaluable tips to animation and VFX students on the best ways to showcase one’s work/expertise to prospective employers.
Dijo’s presentation touched upon the ‘How’ of creating an effective animation demo reel with a host of proven best practices on the ideal length of the demo reel, the kind of work to include, the order of the contents, the music /sound components, the presentation strategy, the shot indexing, uploading it on the right platform and other vital measures.
Nirmal of 2AdPro came all the way from Chennai to interact with students and utilized the platform to share his professional experiences. Nirmal engaged students with a brief yet inspiring presentation on his company’s best advertising work for international clients across print and digital media including work for such eminent Media and Broadcast clients as Fairfax Media, The Washington Post, Meredith, Metro, Tegna, Gray, News Quest, McClatch, NZMe.
Revealing his company’s plans to recruit fresh talent, Nirmal encouraged Creative Multimedia students to apply for suitable positions with 2AdPro and assured them of his full support. He also took the opportunity to share with students his company’s on-job training programs aimed at enhancing skill sets.
The celebrations were punctuated with an assortment of entertainment programs including a magic show, dance show and more. The eventful day ended with a note of thanks to all the special guests, students, parents, staff, alumni and media for gracing the occasion and making it a big success.
19th Anniversary
Big day for India’s best-trained digital media talent as Creative Multimedia celebrates the 19th edition of its popular anniversary fest.
Creative Multimedia Group marked its 19th anniversary with a spirited extravaganza on Sunday, the 16th of July 2017 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. Eminent professionals and achievers from the digital media and entertainment industry graced the occasion and inspired students with their talk.
The festivities commenced with the lighting the lamp ceremony and the customary inaugural address by Mr. Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti Founder and CEO of Creative Multimedia Group which includes both Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- Animation and Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts, two of the most popular career launch pads for Animation, VFX, Graphics and Web students in India.
Mr. Vikas, Principal of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad was among the many important people who were invited to the special event. He graced the event as a special guest of honour. Ms. Arunima - HR head at Next Education and Mr. Vamsi from Purple Talk also attended the 19th anniversary celebrations of Creative Multimedia Group. They addressed the students and offered valuable tips on how to build a career.
Mr. Raja Sekhar thanked Ms. Arunima and Mr. Vamsi for sparing their valuable time and making it possible to attend the event. Mr. Raja Sekhar also presented mementos to all the guests of honour as a special token of appreciation for gracing the occasion and helping make the celebrations a memorable success.
A string of educative presentations on Animation and VFX engaged the students delivering many an enlightening moment for the future stars of the digital media and entertainment industry in India. A medley of entertainment programs including song and dance by students kept the fun quotient high all through the celebrations. Pomp and gaiety mark the 18th Anniversary Celebrations of Creative Multimedia Group.
Creative Multimedia Group, comprising the famed institutions “Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- ” and “Creative Multimedia College of Fine Arts” celebrated its 18th anniversary with great fanfare on Sunday, the 2nd of October 2016 at White House, Kothapet, Hyderabad. The revolutionary group with several unrivalled achievements to its credit has been consistently winning the “Best Digital Media Academy in India” award each year.
Addressing the students, the Founder and CEO of Creative Multimedia Group Mr. Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti recalled the many prestigious achievements of the group in the course of its long and eventful journey spanning 18 years. Expressing his joy on winning the Best Digital Media Academy in India award, Mr. Raja Sekhar said that the Digital Media and Entertainment industry comprising Animation, VFX, Graphics and Web Design fields offers excellent job opportunities as almost every industry/vertical depends on this industry for key tasks such as marketing and communication.
He said that Creative Multimedia Group has been offering value-for-money training programs for career aspirants and helping them achieve gainful employment through its commitment to “Enhancing EmployabilityTM”. He said that the group has trained 18,000+ students so far and that most of them have settled down in their career with high paying jobs in various industries.
He said that it was a matter of great pride that Creative Multimedia students have displayed their CG skills and contributed in part to creating the VFX of such immensely successful blockbusters as Eega, Magadheera, and Bahubali.
Karthika from the Hyderabad-based Visual Effects Company Firefly Studios delivered a high-impact presentation on VFX. The event was also attended by key industry veterans such as Rajat Ojha from The Awesome Games Studio and others. A string of cultural programs punctuated the celebrations and added vibrancy to the proceedings.
15th Anniversary
July 19th is the Anniversary Day of -CREATIVE- Animation Dilsukhnagar. The 'Best Centre' has uniquely proclaimed its anniversary as VFX (Visualize, Feel, Experience) to bring it closer to its students.
Each year VFX showcases a spectacular presentation on a seminal Animation/Multimedia topic by an eminent personality. Industry luminaries are also invited to engage in enlightening knowledge-sharing sessions. The cultural festivities that follow add ample vibrancy to the Anniversary.
VFX culminates in the much awaited Prize Distribution. The coveted -CREATIVE- Animation Dilsukhnagar Proficiency Awards (PRODIGI Awards) are conferred upon the best student works across various categories.

Excitement and anticipation hung heavy in the air. The place seemed pretty busy as bright bouquets, beautiful big boxes and kits were being ferried through the festooned corridor which was flanked by youngsters in white T-Shirts with a message "I love Animation". As guests were trooping in, a vehicle screeched to a halt as a posse of security personnel in safari suits hurried through the corridor and into the hall with metal detectors and security paraphernalia, while the dog squad sniffed the venue safe. It was all happening. The host on the dais was on his phone awaiting some important information. Then came the much anticipated announcement as the crowd rose to attention.
Mr. Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Honourable Minister for IT & Communications, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Chief Guest for the day had arrived. Impeccably dressed in shining white with a Navy Blue Nehru jacket, the Chief Guest marched into the hall with his security personnel as he was greeted to a thunderous applause. He lit the lamp in the presence of Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- CEO Mr. RajaSekhar to initiate the celebrations.

Creative Multimedia celebrated 14 years of leadership in Animation, VFX, Web and Graphics Education, amidst industry veterans on Sunday, the 22nd of July 2012 at Hyderabad from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. It was an eventful day that witnessed many memorable and inspiring moments.
Raja Sekhar B, CEO of Creative Multimedia delivered the inaugural address after inaugurating the event by lighting the lamp with the Chief Guest Vaibhav Kumaresh, one of the most prolific and sought-after Animation Film Makers in India and Director of Vaibhav Studios, Mumbai. Post the inaugural, Vaibhav thanked the CEO RajaSekhar for inviting him to the 14th Anniversary celebrations. Drawing analogies with Creative Multimedia, he said that it was his 14th anniversary as well, because he too commenced his career in 1998, the year in which Creative Multimedia was established.
Mr. Raja Sekhar in his inaugural address welcomed all the students, alumni, parents, staff and well-wishers to the extravaganza. Reminding the gathering that it was World Parent's Day today, he urged everyone to wish their parents. On behalf of the Creative Multimedia, he reiterated the academy's commitment to imparting world-class, outcome-driven education and stated proudly that the academy has been setting the standards in the industry every since its inception.
VFX 2011 - Celebrating 13 Years Of Pixellence®:
White House turns colourful as Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- checks-in to celebrate its 13th Anniversary
The monsoons which were active till the other day retreated briefly on Sunday, the 17th of July, 2011, perhaps, to allow India's Largest Digital Media Academy to conduct its 13th Anniversary extravaganza in style. Like pilgrims flocking a sanctum sanctorum, a 3000-strong crowd breezed into White House at LB Nagar, the majestic venue of the celebrations.
The auditorium was packed to capacity and was buzzing softly with eagerness as the Chief Guest arrived to a warm welcome. A devotional hymn by students lent a divine touch to the proceedings as the Chief Guest and 'Guests of Honour' lit the flower-bedecked 'deepam' to symbolize commencement of Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- 's 13th Anniversary Celebrations.
And booooommm! Riveting confetti of inspiration, song and dance exploded as the fun-quake in the auditorium shot up the Richter scale.
Mr. Srinivas Mohan, VFX Expert of 'Indian Artists' and three-time national award winner graced the event as the Chief Guest while Mr. Naveen Medaram, VFX expert from UK and a highly successful alumnus of Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- along with Mr. Basireddy, CEO of Digi Quest Studios attended the extravaganza as Guests of Honour.
The celebrations witnessed the launch of the 3D Animation Short Film 'Twisted' crafted by Animation interns of DNA Inc. (Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- Incubation). A string of entertainment programs added ample fun to the day while in-depth presentations on the behind-the-scenes of the film 'Robo' and a few Hollywood films by Mr. Srinivas and Mr. Naveen proved truly enriching. The day ended on a high as the prestigious Prodigi Awards were personally presented to winners by the CEO of Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- , Mr. Raja Sekhar B.

The 18th of July, 2010: Bedecked for the 12th Anniversary Celebrations of Diluskhnagar -CREATIVE- , Shilpakala Vedika wore a festive look as it welcomed the steady stream of Dignitaries, Guests and students.
Topguns from the field of Politics, Animation, Cinema and Education descended on the venue to inspire students and enliven the celebrations. The distinguished Guests who elevated the stature of the event included Sri. Konijeti Rosaiah Garu, Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. A.K. Madhavan – CEO of Crest Animation, Dr. D.N. Reddy-Vice Chancellor, JNTU-Hyderabad, Mr. Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Chairman of the Nandi Awards Committee, Mr. Dileep, Assistant Manager from Rhythm & Hues, Mr. Rajat Ojha, PMP-Zen Technologies and Mr. Anand Gurnani-CEO of Animation Xpress. Like every year the Dilsukhnagar -CREATIVE- anniversary held annually on 19 July in Hyderabad, just keeps getting bigger. This year the anniversary was celebrated at the Saroornagar indoor stadium with over 5500 students congregated to participate.
